A little History

Stuckgowan House is a category A listed country house of great character, which was built in about 1820 in Tudor Gothic style for James McMurrich, whose familly had acquired the lands of Stuckgowan in the late 18th Century.
Sadly the architect of Stuckgowan is unknown, although it is described as the most beautiful house on the Loch.
In 2011 The estate was bought by Mr & Mrs Felton who plan to restore the house back to its original state while adding a modern day touch on the inside.
